The U.S. Senate committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions is holding a hearing Tuesday to question top officials from the White House Coronavirus Task Force about plans to ease restrictions and reopen workplaces and schools. Witnesses include Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Dr. Anthony Fauci as well as Dr. Robert Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Assistant Secretary for Health Adm. Brett Giroir and Stephen Hahn, Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, are also due to speak.
